Oklahoma City Based Wedding Photographer

I'm Madeline- a 27 year old artist living in Oklahoma City (well, Edmond if we want to get specific) with my husband, Brant, & our kitty, Lola. My husband and I were both born and raised here and, for some reason, have never left. We started dating in high school, though we have photos of us together at four years old in mother’s day out. We grew up going to different churches, but those churches attended the same summer camp. That’s where our love story really began—the summer before our junior year of high school. We’ve been together ever since! Life has had its ups and downs, but I wouldn’t want anyone else by my side.

My photography journey began in high school when I got my first camera—a Canon Rebel with the kit lens! I started taking pictures of everything and anything, and photoshoots became my favorite way to spend time with friends. I loved coming up with creative concepts and bringing them to life. My senior year, I became the yearbook photographer, which truly cemented my love for photography.

After high school, I went to college for two years, changing my major multiple times because I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to do. Side note—how are we supposed to decide our entire future at 18?! I’ll never get over that. Eventually, I realized that photography was the only thing I wanted to do, so I dropped out to pursue it full-time. I was incredibly lucky to have parents who fully supported that decision. As entrepreneurs themselves, they understood my dream of starting my own business.

While working at a local boutique, I started building my wedding photography business. That season of life was so much fun! Then, in July of 2020, my husband and I got married, and I took my business full-time. I know—launching full-time in the middle of COVID was a little crazy. The past five years of running this business have been filled with joy, tears, hard work, and so many friendships made along the way.

Through it all, I know I wouldn’t be here without my Creator. Every opportunity, every client, and every moment behind the camera is a gift from Him. At the end of the day, my biggest hope is that people see the love of Christ through me, because that’s what truly matters. Thank you, Jesus, for this beautiful life!
